Your First Visit

A first visit to a surgeon can feel heavy. Knowing exactly what will happen makes it lighter.

Before you come

Booking and preparing

Book by WhatsApp or phone — the fastest ways — or through the website form, and you will be offered a time between Monday and Saturday. Consultations are in Turkish or English, whichever is easier for you.

What to bring

  • Your ID, and your insurance card if you have one
  • Any prior reports, biopsy results or imaging (films or discs), if any
  • A list of medicines you take
  • A family member or friend, if you would like company — you are welcome

The visit itself

What happens, step by step

01

Arrival

The practice is at Selenium Plaza in Beşiktaş. Come a few minutes early; there is no paperwork marathon waiting for you.

02

The consultation

Prof. Dr. Hafız listens first, examines you personally — often including a camera examination of the throat — and reviews what you brought.

03

The plan

You leave knowing what the findings mean, what happens next, and what it involves. Personal medical advice happens here, at the visit — not over the internet.

How long does a first visit take?
Long enough to examine you properly and answer your questions. Plan for the better part of an hour rather than minutes.
Can someone come with me?
Please do bring someone if you would like to. For serious diagnoses, a second pair of ears helps.
What if I need tests or imaging?
If further tests are needed, Prof. Dr. Hafız explains which, why, and where they can be done, and reviews the results with you afterwards.

The practice is at Selenium Plaza, Beşiktaş — directions and the map are on the Contact page.
